Biblical commentaries provide detailed explanation and interpretation of the Bible. They are often divided by individual book (or groups of related books). To find commentaries on a particular book (or group of books) in the Bible, use the following formats:
Bible. Genesis -- Commentaries
Bible. Minor Prophets -- Commentaries
Bible. Corinthians, 1st -- Commentaries
Bible. Gospels -- Commentaries
Do not include specific chapter and verse numbers in your search, since commentaries generally cover entire books of the Bible.
Most commentaries have call numbers in the BS section. They range from BS1235 for Genesis through BS2825 for Revelation.
