Some guidelines to best practices in printing at FPU in the Hiebert Library

How to Print

There are some key aspects to printing at Fresno Pacific University.


  • Select the "Printing" tile on to get detailed tutorials for printing on campus

  • Student ID cards or Moodle Credentials needed for signing in at Printer to complete print job

When you open your file, you will get the option of “Save As” from the file menu.

  1. After you’ve chosen your file location, there will be an area under the file name that says “File Type”
  2. From the drop down, and select “PDF”
  3. Save.

  1. Navigate to (either by typing the URL in the address bar, or by selecting the printing tile on
  2. Log in with your Office365 credentials. This is the same username/password you use to sign into Moodle.
  3. Adjust the printing settings to your liking. They automatic settings will also be sufficient if you aren’t needing special printing (such as a staple or printing back to back[duplex])
  4. Choose the file that you’ve saved as PDFs.
  5. Submit.
    1. If this is the only print job you require, log out. If you have more jobs, you can continue to choose file and submit till complete.
  6. Log out.



  1. With your student ID card, go to the printer.
  2. Swipe your ID Card in the card reader, magnetic strip up.
  3. Select “Secure print” if your queue does not already pop up.
  4. Tap the job, and then select the option you’d like at the bottom of the screen.

No ID Card?

  1. Go to the printer.
  2. Select “AD Login” on the bottom right corner of the printer touch screen
  3. Log in with your full FPU email address, and the password you use for Office365/Moodle.
  4. Select Secure Print if your queue doesn’t automatically pop up.
  5. Tap the job, and then select the option you’d like at the bottom of the screen.
