We're excited to announce that the archives has digital collections available online!
The archivist and library director have been hard at work digitizing and uploading materials to DigitalFPU (http://digitalfpu.fresno.edu ).
DigitalFPU is a DAM* and serves as the home for Fresno Pacific University and Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary photographs, student newspapers, student yearbooks, and more. We're frequently adding to these collections and we hope you'll enjoy clicking and searching through them! We've been doing our best to add descriptive information (aka metadata, such as names, dates, and locations, etc.) where possible. Please email additions and corrections to the archivist Hannah Keeney at hannah.keeney@fresno.edu.
Wayne Steffen in University Communications recently wrote a spotlight article for the University Home Page - read it Here (https://news.fresno.edu/article/01/03/2023/digitalfpu-history-pacific-bible-college-fresno-pacific-university-click-mouse).
*Quick, What's a Digital Asset Management System (DAMS)? It's software that provides a way to organize, store, and share images and other digital content across departments both inside and outside an institution.
